Mindfulness is very important to eating a healthy diet. Today we rush through our meals and barely taste the food. Eating on the run, in the car etc., have become the norm. Mindful eating is effective at helping to change this pattern. However, mindfullness also tells us to live in the present which helps to create peace in our lives. Paradoxically even when living in the present we cannot eat anything we desire at a given moment without anticpating consequences if this is done day after day. It will affect the aging process and overall health.
